Appointment Scheduling System
NTA uses an online appointment scheduling system. All registered Convention attendees can use their NTAonline log-in and password to schedule appointments until the system closes on December 14.
The appointment scheduling system has a hierarchy of importance when creating schedules. Appointments are scheduled in the following priority order:
- Perfect matches—when the operator and seller requests match each other
- Operator requests—when the operator requests the seller
- Seller requests—where the seller requests the operator
Fill Your Time Slots! Several factors can also influence the number of prescheduled appointments you receive. They include:
- Number of requests you submit. Often, sellers do not submit the maximum number of requests (60). If you only submit 20 out of 60 requests, you only have 20 chances for an appointment to be scheduled, instead of 60. So, request all 60!
- Number of requests you receive. If a seller does not receive a high number of operator requests, chances are they will have fewer prescheduled appointments than the average. Making sure your online profile is up-to-date and adequately promotes your destination or company is key in capturing the operator's attention!
- Registration date. The matching program creates the schedules in order by registration date. Submitting a late registration (after Aug. 24) means there are fewer open times in operators' appointment schedules to make appointments.
